LOS ANGELES - Google Inc.'s YouTube said Thursday it is vastly expanding its library of full-length movies and TV shows it offers online, while also launching a new advertising service and adding about a dozen new content partners.
The long-form videos will be housed on a unique page at http://www.youtube.com/shows and get a "Shows" tab on the main YouTube site.
The offering, which went live late Thursday, marks a further departure from the fuzzy homemade clips that made the Web site popular and is the latest move in YouTube's attempt to boost sales and profits. Last week, YouTube announced it was teaming up with Universal Music Group to create an online music video venture.
"It's a first step in a long commitment," said Shiva Rajaraman, a YouTube senior product manager, in a conference call with reporters.

Girls Generation has jumped on the ‘HAHAHA campaign’ bandwagon for Samusng.
The 9 member girl group sang a new version of the ‘hahaha’ song in order to bring hopes and smiles to the downbeat Korean ajusshis in this economic recession. A representative of the campaign confirmed that “because of their cute and upbeat image, they ….gained a lot of popularity and interest (from males) in their 30’s and 40’s”.
Sheesh. Samsung just wanted to attract these perverted old “ahjussi’s” with these youngins. Check out the new song below or watch the dance lesson video (that has such a sexy and excited “ahjussi” voice) to learn the dance:

Spotted at Gimpo Airport this afternoon, the boys of “Boys over Flowers”- Lee Min-ho in black, Kim Hyun-joong with a frizzy mop top, Kim Bum also in the same hat and the smiley Goo Hye-sun boarded a flight to Japan to promote their cheesy drama to another unsuspecting audience.
After they conquer Japan, maybe there will be a Hollywood version of the hit drama?
Considering that everyone and their dog have their eye on “making it” in Hollywood, we wouldn’t be surprised.

Goo Hye-sun admitted to the celebrity program, “YTN Star” that she had gain a whooping 7 kg (about 15 lbs). Now that she mentioned it, “the Boys over Flowers” star does look a little full in the cheeks. But as skinny as she is, a few more healthy pounds won’t hurt.
The F4 crew flew to Japan yesterday to promote their drama.
